I. Main point: Let’s start with the real question. What is hypnosis? Well in technical terms it’s when the mind is in a relaxed zone. When you’re in your most vulnerable state and giving your mind freedom to be shaped and formed. This is a natural human trait, everyone has it. It may take others more time to embrace that trait but it’s there. There are different forms of hypnosis that people use every day without knowing it.
A. Focusing inwards on yourself and trying to change a quality that you don’t like or just will like to change is a form of hypnosis. Most people think hypnosis is just waving a medallion or clock of some short and saying some magic words. It’s not.
B. There are tools used like a clock or a medal but, the tools hold no real power besides to hold your attention. It gets people to calm down and focus on that swaying item to free your mind. According to “About Hypnosis” by Stephen Walkin Ph.D. hypnosis only has the amount of power if you lC. Giving your mind up to hypnosis isn’t really giving it up at all.
