I am presenting my paper as a combination medication to treat a poor health of hypertension or known to everyone as a high blood pressure. My bottom line up front (bluf) is a hearty rhythm of my heart beat. In the beginning a long time ago, so far away half way around the world when I was a young boy growing up in the Philippines, my grandmother on my mother’s side of the family had two younger siblings that passed away at age of 45 from heart attacked due to high blood pressure. In October 2012, my veteran affair physician provider Dr. Utt changed my prescription drug from lisinopril to metoprolol and then to atenolol of 10mg it did not controlled it so I went from 20mg, 30mg, 40mg, and 50mg. On October 2014, on my next visit with him, it still uncontrolled, so then, he told me that I need to see my primary care provider in TRICARE Prime of which is my family care plan in Madigan hospital since he said that he’s out of options due to veteran affairs. So there my visit at Madigan hospital, but before I have seen my family’s primary care provider, Dr. Dewell, I have spent all the way through EKG, Sonogram of my heart, and blood examination so in January 21 2015 when I saw her, as the outcome of the test, she believed that I need to lower my cholesterol for the reason that it’s causing my heart to pump so hard that it’s creating hyperplasia, which is an enlargement of the left ventricle in my heart this was a wake-up call for me because of my childhood experience, high blood pressure is a silent killer that a person could have. She prescribes me a simvastatin 10mg to lower my cholesterol and then she said I would like to prescribe you a combination medication know as amlodipine/valsartan 10/320mg in the company of a follow up of blood …show more content…
The advantage of combination is an individual based upon what gives the best possible to control the blood pressure with the fewest side effects with the aim of effectively manages it, what’s more, combination treatment may cost less plus in attendance may be less frequent doctor visit. The disadvantage at this time is that there are many different combinations of drugs in unreliable dosages are used to treat along with it, its start at a lower dose of one or more drugs in combination plus it increases until the desired effect meets along with blood drawn for kidney and liver state. This can be expensive along with frequent visits at the physician
