We would like to thank him for all he did last year, and wish him luck in tracking our nation’s most dangerous criminals. To answer our need for another team member, we welcome our newest member, Clare Stahr to our team! Clare’s fun, plays Volleyball and Softball, and is really excited to be on the team! She wants to help out and have fun while doing it. With a new year, we have a new theme! This year it’is Hydro Dynamics, or any way we use, find, transport, use, or dispose of water. This could be working on how we filter water, an improvement in our piping systems, or even a more efficient way to wash our clothes! As of now, we have not decided on an idea for project. Although, a lot of our ideas focus on finding and cleaning water in third world countries. If any of …show more content…

It’ll give us a great competing edge this year on the robot board. Look out for our new “Sassy Chassis” in the coming robot competition! To all our wonderful sponsors from last year, thank you for all the support you gave us and for making our trip to Legoland in Carlsbad, California and for allowing us to give Big Ben to (elephant name), yet another elephant at the San Diego Zoo! Unfortunately we have just received word that the Omaha Zoo’s only male elephant, Warren, (the first elephant to try out Big Ben) has died from unexpected complications during surgery on a cracked tusk. We would like to offer our condolences to the Omaha Zoo. We are glad that we were able to enrich his life before his death, and are thankful for his great help in advancing our project. The two perspectives greatly contrast each other, as they take completely opposite sides of the argument in any environmental issue. This was represented in the lecture by Professor Mark Boyer about Considering Environmental Values. For the purpose of this essay, I will specifically be talking about the issue of Climate change, and how both perspectives view this environmental issue. There are many things I did not realize when it comes to water. Water is extremely essential to humans, animals of the world and the whole ecosystem. I have learned that the demand and need for water has decreased substantially and has started to raise concern to many.
