Aside from that, fracking is quite beneficial for the United States in which it will allows us to be less dependent on others nations for these natural resources. In addition, hydraulic fracturing, in itself, also opens up jobs as it is structure into other areas to gather resources where it is possible (List of Pros and Cons of Hydraulic Fracturing, occupytheory.org). A benefit to using this drilling process is that it allows us to gain access to a greater amount of gases and oil deep within the earth than previously before. And with our ever-advancing technology, this practice will only continue to perform better as it is upgraded with new technology. And with that, we are supplying ourselves with a greater amount of resources to better stimulate our economy. A benefit with using fracking is that, it allows the ability extract natural gas. And nautral gas is known as the cleanest fossil fuel and a highly efficient form of …show more content…
Although there is quite a few more negativity with hydraulic fracturing than positive outcomes from what I was able to excavate, I still think it serves a purpose considering how technology and machines apparently rule our lives. We have to get those fuels from somewhere until we find an efficient, less environmentally destructive resource. However if I were to be for or against it, I would probably say that we should stick to using it if it’s what help push us forward until we find a new resource to build upon. On the other hand, however, I would also like for us to either: regulate our use of this practice, stop using, or find an alternative altogether. Although we do need those resources to enhance our lives, our environment is significantly much more important considering we’re the one who, along with several other animal species, live and depend on it every single day. And in the long run, we’re going to be adversely affected if we continue to harvest these resources. In consequence to such massive collecting, it will unavoidably deplete our earth of its resource and consequently deprive us of fuel. Nonetheless, I do not think hydraulic fracturing is significantly worth using since it risks contaminating our water supply with its waste and other hazardous components it leaves behind considering water is essential to
