This can be because their work schedule seems to hectic, or they work too many hours. It may be because they don't want to sacrifice time with their spouses or children.
A hybrid schedule makes it easier. The fact that much of the work is done online makes the whole process simpler. Students are able to earn a degree around their hectic schedules. Students still, however, receive the benefit of meeting with other people like themselves, who want a degree and their professors. This enhances the online experience, as students have the chance to interact with their professor and fellow students. This is an advantage compared to either a regular online program or a traditional college degree program.

Those who have been out of school a long time may be afraid of going back, even if they think doing so might further their career, for a number of reasons. He or she may be intimidated by traditional learning in a classroom with much younger students who may seem better prepared for college. They may be afraid keeping up with them will be hard. A hybrid environment, however, gives students a chance to work at their own pace, which may seem a big advantage for those out of school a long
