In Brave New world there was a great value of change and advancement, which made you question about the huxley’s statement about politics or society. Huxley’s Brave New World is the Totalitarian Government it affects people ,relationships, and brainwashing.
Huxley Totalitarian Government in Brave New World show how many characters are affected. In the book Huxley says “outside the garden it was play time naked in the warm june sunshine six or seven hundred little boys were running over the lawns or playing ball games or squating silently in tubs or threes among the flowing shrubs. In this quote by Huxley Government is contrasted with nature. The children are naked but they play games with somewhat futuristic toys as if they don’t know they’re naked or simply just act if if there is nothing wrong with being naked Huxley also makes a point through the character Lenina when he has her say, “but it’s horrible Lenina says shrinking from the back window. Lenina was appalled by the emptiness of the night by the black foam-flecked water heaving beneath the the pale face of the moon so happened and distracted among the hastening clouds”. Huxley uses Lenina with conservation with another character to show how the Government affects people’s relationships. He lets Lenina have a conservation with another character as if the only man Lenina wants is john, but yet she is continuously sleeping with other men. This makes it seems as if her wanting John is simply her not knowing what she truly wants, because if she really wanted john she wouldn’t be sleeping with any other man.
