On October 29th, 2012, Hurricane Sandy suddenly changed its direction towards the northeast coast of the USA and caused 43 dead, more than one hundred homes were burned in that night. This disaster warned people to think more about the effects of rising sea in our daily and future life. It has become to common sense that the major reason of rising sea level is our fossil-fuel-driven civilization. Burning causes carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere, the overall temperature in the earth's atmosphere increased gradually. We call it "global warming". Due to the higher temperature, the ice mountain on land started melting. Climate scientists estimated that Greenland and Antarctic combined have lost on average about 50 cubic miles of ice each year since 1992.
