Remaining in your car will not be safe for you because the hurricane can easily destroy your car. The best place to take shelter is your basement. That is because a basement is the strongest part of your house. Before the hurricane hits, make sure to prepare enough food for everyone in your house because the hurricane could last longer than a day. Make sure that you have plenty of water for everyone is your house. It is a good idea to have water bottles. Having a radio will help u to stay updated about the hurricane.
