Will hurricane Irma and Harvey have a negative impact on the third-quarter GDP (Gross Domestic Product) growth?
Well economist Goldman Sachs, Moody and others are cutting their estimates for the 3rd quarter Gross Domestic Products growth due to hurricane Irma and Harvey
Goldman Sachs now feel that the gross domestic products will gain a 2 percent rate this quarter after slashing its estimate by .08 percentage points.
Moody estimates that with hurricane Irma and Harvey that the property damage and lost will be at 150 billion to 200 billion dollars.
