It was a difficult week not able to know what’s going on around you. To not be able to go anywhere only to stay in your house. Always thinking “why us?” why did this happen to us. During Hurricane Harvey, my family and I felt the constant feelings of being lucky, worried, and trapped. During that week, my family and I were lucky that we didn’t get flooded because of the ditches on our street. Even though it was raining hard where we lived the ditches hold as much of the water it could. Our power went out here and there but never for a long time like everyone else. We were safe throughout the storm with no injuries or destruction. We were always worried about or family especially my aunt Juana, Aunt Lety, and grandma. My grandma wasn’t home
