We are calling on all Americans to help with the response to Hurricane Harvey with donations or by assisting with search and rescue efforts. The Federal Government main focus is on rescue operations. The hurricane victims need help and we are working to provide it. The DHS and FEMA will continue to coordinate closely with Federal, state, local and charitably organizations to support the victims in Hurricane Harvey and other disasters.
We will be working together with the help of God to get Texas back to operational status. We can’t restore the loss lives or countless personal items lost in the storm but we can give them their basic needs. To support my ideal I will use Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs method. Maslow believed that there is a hierarchy of needs that if the lower level, the basic needs, such as water, food, air, sleep, clothes and shelter are met, humans would be motivated to meet the security level and above. Working as a Federal Government Agency along with the help of the people, it is our job to secure the victims with their basic needs along with counseling that will encourage them to not give up and remind them that they still have life.
