My diseases are Huntington’s disease and gouty arthritis. If someone in your family has Huntington's disease it's a great chance you have that disease. Huntington's disease is a rare genetic disease that hits in your middle ages, that's why it's good to know the signs, symptoms, treatments, preventions , and background information. Agonizing pain in your big toe is one of the leading signs of gouty arthritis or gout. If you're a male and after the age of 30 you should know the signs, symptoms, treatments, preventions, and background information so it won't happen to you. Knowing about these diseases can possibly save your life if you're at risk.

Gout is a disease in which uric acid accumulates in the blood and may be deposited as needle-shaped crystals in the soft tissues of joints. An agonizing pain in your big toe is a common sign of gout. Over a 10 year period 15,773 people died from gouty arthritis. Researchers have found that higher levels of uric acid in the blood increase the risk of gout among women, at a lower rate among men. Gout is more physically painful than Huntington's disease.

Huntington's disease symptoms are treated with a drug. Diagnostic genetic test are available to detect the defected gene. There is currently no cure for Huntington's disease and no way to slow or stop the brain changes it causes. For the involuntary movements(chorea) , the doctor prescribes the patient antipsychotic medicine. For the OCD, the doctor prescribes a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor also known as, SSRI’s. They're also no current vaccinations for Huntington's disease.

Fortunately, gout can be treated with medicine unlike Huntington's disease. Gout can be treated with several over-the-counter medications like,colchicine,ibuprofen, and other drugs. Physicians advise you to lose weight if you're obese , avoid liver, kidneys, sardines because they are high in nucleic acid, and you also should avoid alcohol it can cause excretion of uric acid
