Huntington’s disease (HD) is an inherited disease, that progresses in a 10 to 20 year time period, which causes loss in cognitive functions. This causes muscle spasms and then progresses to complete loss of mobility. It also affects things such as balance, muscle strength, sense of touch, hearing, eyesight, your mood, and even your ability to speak. The gene associate with HD is called by a variety of names such as IT15 and Htt.
