Hunters follow regulations and limits within each season which results in helping maintain animal population control. Surveys are sent out to each individual who holds a hunting licence to be completed for the Ministry of Natural Resources to have another source of information on wildlife population. Furthermore, some hunters even go to the extent of setting out vitamin and mineral blocks which help animals stay healthy and allow to continue to reproducing, again to help with animal population
