However, despite living in a city, Frank and Tub are still bound to suffer negative consequences from their foolish actions. The period between action and consequence is merely longer.
Frank's decision to pursue a 15 year old babysitter could have several different catastrophic endings. It is not even known if the babysitter has feelings of any kind for Frank, nor is it known how the parents of this babysitter would feel about Frank's intentions. Frank could be rejected, or even worse, arrested.
Even if Frank's feelings are reciprocated, his family will still be devastated, and Frank may come to miss his family. Tub, on the other hand, faces the health complications of obesity which could likely end in premature death, since he shows no sign of fighting his tendency to eat excessively. This would affect Tub's family terribly, and his friends as well. If Frank and Tub had a slight degree of wisdom, they would learn a lesson about impulsive, foolish decisions made on a whim. However, it is clearly demonstrated that they do not, and plainly intend to hold on to their destructive behavior.
