Hunter Realm Of Hell: A Narrative Fiction

Hunter Realm of Doom Guy was just Hunter now, as she had come to discover that he was more than just a Realm of Doom expert. He also was the kind of guy who plays his music so loud that you could understand the lyrics from the other side of the table. He almost always had the same grumpy expression on his face, even when he was happy. He liked video games, art, and using swear words for emphasis. And he will definitely be the first to die in the zombie apocalypse.
In gym class, she had a new personal goal: help Hunter pass gym class. No matter what, she would give him the numbers he’d need, (what are friends for?) but she wasn’t going to tell him that. She wanted him to earn it, or at least, try to earn it. Though today, he might’ve tried

His face was red, though couldn’t tell if that were from the exhaustion or the embarrassment, or a mixture of both. At least his skin had flushed in its pale cover from moments before.
Their footsteps almost echoed in the empty hallways, as students were still supposed to be in for their lessons. Class was important, but some things were even more valuable.
“You all right?” she kept asking him.
A moment’s pause every time, and then he would give a quick nod and stop; she could tell he was still feeling lightheaded.
The beep test. You listen to a recording that beeps every few seconds, and you have to run to the other side of the gym before the next beep goes off. On top of that, the sound keeps ringing closer and closer together, so you have to run faster to make time. You keep going until you can’t keep up any further.
“Nobody likes the beep test,” Arlene assured him.
“No shit,” he jeered, leaving her with a little bit of a smile.
They were on their fourth lap around the school. The janitor marked their starting point, his mop scouring the mess sprawled near the bathroom doors. Arlene was sure to stand between him and the custodian, sparing him a little dignity if she

This year, as well as previous years, many students had to go to their guidance counselor and change things before the school year even started! Still, others waited until the first day, or even the first week before requesting changes. Some students reported having multiple gym and lunch periods, while others had classes in their schedule that were supposed to be every day, but they only had these classes every other day, making it nearly impossible for them to keep up with their peers. These students had to leave these classes, no matter if they liked the class or not.…

In high school, students are constantly reminded of the need to pursue an education beyond high school. Students are advised to take certain steps towards receiving a higher education, usually at a university that most individuals are familiar with. When I think about college life, I think of what some may picture out of a typical movie scene. In Graeme Wood’s “Is College Doomed,” Wood investigates into a new perspective of a for-profit undergraduate education system that lacks a campus in which individuals associate with the typical university, called Minerva.…
