Starting with people without jobs. Having a job is crucial to making it in the adult life. A lot of children are not getting the appropriate resources that allow them to fulfill their hunger. According to reports from top news broadcasters, Hunger is a big problem in America. The problem is growing each and everyday.
Food and Agriculture is the heart of our civilizations. Hunger is a top priority issue, but so is another topic, poverty. Right now in the United States, 46.5 million people are living in a state of poverty. And of that total, more than 16.1 million are children under the age of 18. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, people under the age of 18 have a higher poverty rate than those in any other age group. That’s one out of every five children in America, living in a state of poverty, “scared and afraid, not knowing what tomorrow will be like.”
The percentages of poverty in America are extreme. In 2013, there were 45.3 million people in poverty. Even though poverty is not the main subject, it relates in a way. Poverty in America is pretty much saying money is an issue. With money being an issue, food is becoming harder and harder to purchase and put on the table. Sure the food stamps help, but do you wonder if these people want to actually not be on food
