What does it mean to be a hero in an exciting fantasy Adventure? The most important question who wouldn’t want to be the hero of any story? And that’s what happens with Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games. She’s a girl that was in a situation where she didn’t want to be the hero and was forced or I should say chose to force her self to be the hero. This is a story of a higher power force to destroy civilians and make them live under fear and turn them into weak creatures. Katniss her mother and her sister were on the edge of starvation and she was the only person in her family was able to bring food and make her family survive. As it shows in the movie Katniss was always the one who cared about her little sister prime and she was like her second mother and wanted to provide everything she could to make her live better than anyone in the district. She always wanted to keep her safe and away from the reaping of The Hunger Games, and that’s what leads her to volunteer as a tribute and enter the Game. Haymitch had to mentor Katniss and Peeta and that lead us to the Meeting The Mentor Stage. Haymitch is not really in a state where he could mentor them because he was always under the influence of alcohol. Yet he had to mentor them and get them ready and make them expect the unexpected in the reaping and also in the capital. Which that takes us into the next stage which is Crossing the Threshold, when the tributes from district 12 enters the capitol which was a city full of things that they’ve never seen before.
