Stories can make one’s down time or family time very interesting. It is amazing how a good story can make an evening magical. The author in this story does a fine job of introducing readers to the character, which is A Hunger Artist. In the very beginning of getting to know The Hunger Artist, the story tell about his talent of fasting. In the beginning he is teamed up with persons or his boss, that allows him to fast for forty days. Forty days is the longest amount of time before they take, A Hunger Artist out of the cage. Imagery is used for example the festive celebration. Food and live band that attend the feast, they play in celebration of A Hunger Artist.
