In November 2017, I spent a weekend at a charity organization called Heifer Farm that works to end hunger and poverty. This experience lets people understand how fortunate industrialized nations are. Most of us do not even think twice about where we will get our food or if we have available clean water or electricity. During the trip I had to live in a section of the farm dedicated to houses that display poverty conditions based on a country; the Global Village. The houses did not have heat or electricity and later in the day it began to rain. The Tibet house did not have any furniture, only a stone floor.
