Hello I am so excited that everyone could make it out this evening, to attend our 30th Annual Mother & Daughter Banquet. This is always a pleasurable evening because although all mothers are absolutely the best, we get to pick one beautiful mother for mother of the year. This is not an easy task, but it is indeed always an honor.
I will not prolong this honorable moment. I would like to start by saying that this lady right here has stood the tests of time. She is a mother that just didn’t believe in having children but she believed in raising them. At one time it seemed as if she was doing the job alone, because her husband thought the streets, at one time, was better than being home. He soon matured and found that home was a good place to be, and of course this humble woman acted as if he was there all the time and never skipped a beat.
She was the mother of five children, three sons and two daughters. She lost one daughter in 1983 at the age of 14 and in 2016 she

Every summer this beautiful grandmother would get all her grandchildren for the whole summer, until of course they started to get to big to listen. She didn’t stop them from coming, she would just get the girls half the summer and then the boys the other half. They have had moments and made videos that will definitely make history. The granddaughters have dropped money and made it rain for her birthday and she had no idea, she just laughed and tried to catch the money. They have had her trying on numerous outfits, some that made her daughter so embarrassed until she had to ask them to please stop. They have tried to teach her how to twerk, and of course the daughter was always there to make them stop, because she was so embarrassed. There were nights when they were up so late laughing and making so much noise until the daughter had to once again step in and make every one go to
