Fellow family members, friends, teachers, guests, and my fellow classmates… good evening. I want to thank you all for being here tonight and I want to start just just how much of an honor it is… for you to be here to listen to my speech. Our days of roaming the hallways with our hair in ponytails or hats, baggy basketball shorts, old t-shirts, and the some slides because we just didn’t have the energy to look good that day, are over. I have had the pleasure of getting to know these great people, and some I even choose to call family. And sometimes, I am grateful for that choice.

I told her there was no way she was going to brush it. So there I was, the kindergarten girl with a boy haircut. And there, I met Nicholas and Brenna.
Now fast forward with me to second grade. My hair had grown out to about shoulder length and stood out to about here *shows with hair motions* Everyone said I had an afro, and not to mention, I put on a little bit of weight. During this year, Hyrum came to us, and I must admit that the color of his hair did scare me a little …show more content…
She carries on tasks that many of us back away from, and she knows how to take charge. She is sincere about things she cares about. She has become one of the best friends I could ask for, and I am thankful for that. And lastly, I have come to know that Nicholas has more than just one funny bone in his body. It’s either cracking corny jokes constantly, or being completely emotionless. But his jokes never fall short of making me laugh until I am crying. His intelligence in school is something I
