Humorous Wedding Speech By Alessia Cara

“I always told myself that if I was going to be given a voice, I might as well say something worth listening to” is one of my favorite quotes by Alessia Cara. I've been a fan of her since she was just a seventeen-year-old doing covers on YouTube.

I can't say her voice is the reason I look up to her. It's her confidence and how she loves everyone else. As she was growing and becoming more famous, she became more humble. I love that about her. Most celebrities love themselves to a point where they see themselves as better than everyone else. I'm not saying it's wrong to love yourself but there’s a line that shouldn't be crossed. It isn't all celebrities though. Alessia isn't that type of person. She loves and values her fans no matter what.

It's crucial not to judge people immediately. You really don't know their point of view or feelings just by a look. She also taught me to be positive. That goes from body positivity to having a positive outlook on life in general. Although I'm not the happiest I can be, I still try to maintain a positive attitude. It's easier to communicate with a happy person rather than someone that’s upset. The last thing I learned is to be yourself. Being yourself is important because there are people that love you for who you are, for your quirks and flaws. If you change, the way people look at you changes as well. Its not worth changing a one of a kind personality to be like everyone

Today I am going to talk, in very abridged form, a little bit about my experience of getting to know the amazing person who goes by the name of Cecilia Bernard, and what I have learned about her over the past three years of knowing her, which was both a fortunate and unfortunate event. What I first learned about her is that she was very open and inviting. I found this out on the way to New Orleans.…

In other words, Nikki Giovanni believes that people do not really say what they really think, or if they do, they do not really speak everything on their minds. At times people might keep their words to themselves to not offend their loved ones, but at times it is important to say what they think or feel to their loved ones, because it may result in a better outcome than not speaking out at all. At times people decide to tell their loved ones what they feel or think, or not, because people cannot bear with the idea that speaking their minds might potentially hurt their loved one’s feelings. Therefore, truthfully or not, it is very important to decide if it is best to…
