The course theme for my class is humor. The purpose of this is to understand the idea of humor theory and how it functions in literature. In class, we learned not only about humor theory, but literary devices like diction.The course's book were Born a Crime by Trevor Noah and Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris. The connection between the course theme and all the assignments I have done, is on how to show the distinct connection between humor and literature. I have grown academically since the beginning of the semester since I have had to preserve as well as understand the importance of analysis in writing.
