In the book Ender’s Game, the author, Orson Scott Card, had some special meaning by using Ender Wiggin as the protagonist. In the book, it said, “He’s such a very little boy” (255). Using a kid that is only 6 years old as a protagonist while the whole book is about humanity facing a huge trouble of almost being wiped out by the formics. This shows that kids, though being smaller, his thoughts and emotions are just as complex as a grown up. Ender is said to be a mix of Peter and Valentine, his intelligence incredible. He and Peter and Valentine, though kids, can think very fast and make very wise decisions. They all are just kids, but their thoughts and emotion are just as complex and cannot be understood easily. Just as Ender said, he can

Ender Wiggin: The Innocent Weapon In Ender’s Game, by Orson Scott Card, Ender is a very controversial character. Many people believe that he is a killer with a violent spirit, and that he meant to commit genocide, while I disagree. I believe that Ender has an innocent spirit, a friendly conscience, and was repeatedly used as a weapon. He was provoked when fighting Stilson and Bonzo, was constantly controlled by the adults, and did not have the intent of genocide on the buggers.…

According to Dictionary.com, a tool is defined as, “anything used as a means of accomplishing a task or purpose.” In the novel Ender’s Game, by Orson Scott Card, Ender the protagonist is told that “Human beings are free except when humanity needs them… Individual human beings are all tools that the others use to help us all survive” by a man named General Graff. Although all human beings deserve freedom, I believe that the statement, “Human beings are free except when humanity needs them… Individual human beings are all tools that the others use to help us all survive” by General Graff is true because the freedom of one individual human being is very insignificant compared to the wellness of the entire species.…

Born as a third child, Ender is despised by his older brother Peter Wiggin because he is the living proof that Peter was not good enough. It is illegal for parents to have more than two children in Ender’s society. However, the government permitted Ender’s parents to have more than two children with a belief that the third child had great potential to be a military leader one day who will save the Earth from an enemy alien species known as the "Buggers” and due to the promise shown by the other two siblings. Peter was too aggressive and Valentine was too compassionate. The government believed that Ender possesses the qualities of a great leader, since he can be violent at times like his brother Peter, and also be passive like his sister Valentine which creates the perfect combination.…

But what I love most about this book is how it showed that kids are capable of making big decisions like adults. “"Ender's Game"” relates to everyday life because we all fight internal and external battles. One example of this is when Ender has to leave his sister to go to battle school. I would say that this is an internal battle because he loves his sister so much that it is hard to leave her. This relates to life because you might have to leave schools or move and have to leave your friends behind.…
