Human Trafficking is amongst the tops of the lists for injustices in our society. Human trafficking is the illegal movement of people for the use of forced labor or commercial sexual exploitation. If you were to read all that was just stated, while taking out the term ‘human trafficking’, it would sound almost identical to slavery. Human trafficking has morphed into a modern-day slavery, causing more trouble than ever. This new type of slavery is almost underground, and not noticeable to the public's eye unless pointed out. U.S. Traffickers use violence, threats, deception, debt bondage, and other manipulative tactics to force people to engage in commercial sex or to provide labor or services against their will. When someone can not do for themselves, and are only doing what someone else is demanding them to do, they have no power. No power means no freedom. These traffickers have lost the freedom they were born into, over such a cruel injustice. In the play Zoot Suit, the youth had a trend that they would partake in. The zoot suits were very popular, but then the government took them away due to war. These zoot suits were a way for the youth to express their own style and be who they are, yet the government just ripped it right away from them.
