Human trafficking or modern slavery is an international or domestic transport of human beings with the sole purpose of exploiting them. Human trafficking will affect not only women’s but it also can affect men’s. The impact of human trafficking on the victim mostly women and children are largely neglected. Human traffickers will transport all the women and children from their origin countries to other economically troubled areas such as Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin America. Human trafficking activities could cause psychological, physiological, emotional and other traumatic consequences to the victims.They are exposed to social alienation in the host and home countries. In order to stop human trafficking case from increasing, awareness of the seriousness of human trafficking should be created at all levels of the society and among different agents in all of the countries. The seriousness of human trafficking and its changing nature require immediate response, timely measures and the flexibility to change direction where necessary. The solution for preventing this issue must be comprehensive and addressing all aspects of this epidemic. We need to develop an army to fight the war against human trafficking. Preventing human trafficking involves the action of addressing the cause of poverty, the inadequate economic growth, inequitable resource allocation, lack of social security and the absence of gender equality, democracy and respect for human rights. All the agencies should come under one umbrella and strategically combat in the war together. Our law enforcement must be well trained to spot human trafficking victims and traffickers. There must be also harsher penalties for traffickers in order to inadequate to deter trafficking and bring traffickers to justice. Government should also provide assistance to the victims of human trafficking who suffer from severe psychological trauma. Service providers across the country including domestic violence shelters, hospitals, clinics and authorities most come hand in hand in order to assist all the human trafficking victims. The prevention of human trafficking should begin the identification at the grass root level by identifying the supply and demand of trafficking, the transit points and trafficking routes. Prosecution is one of the best methods of preventing human trafficking in which involve the identification of traffickers in order to make them compensate for the damages that they have caused and at the same times to ensure that they do not cause any further damages.
