Men, women, and especially children, are being taken advantage of, abused and used whether it is for hard labor or sex itself. You may not see the importance of this issue, but in a world driven by sex and money, why would you? Considering the fact that human trafficking is a multi-billion dollar industry where criminals gain profit from exploiting others. People believe that water is diminishing and there is controversy on how to reserve it. Numerous articles, specifically in an essay by Mikhail Gorbachev, exude how severe our diminishing water reserves are, making claims that water brings people together,and in which can bring world peace since most conflicts are over water situations, specifically in the Middle East . We all know the situation in Africa. When the song “Arms of an Angel” come on in a commercial , our hearts break, the children are seen to be suffering and are given less than a chance to survive, and traveling a few thousand miles to the other side of the world to other peripheries such as India, the situation is no less dire. Even I myself, see the environment as a top priority as an environmental major, however, human trafficking and objectifying the body is a violation of human rights and demeans and tarnishes the overall value of life.
