In the article “Human Trafficking and the Terrible Price of Sex,” it was brought to light how prevalent human trafficking is in the world, including the United States. Human trafficking is the act of servitude. The reading expresses the exploitation of women through sex trafficking. “The Price of Sex,” is a documentary written by Chakarova and features stories of women tricked into human trafficking. The victims tell stories of how they had intentions of getting a good job as waitress or a maid, then find out they were tricked into sex work. Human trafficking impacts many different types of people for many different incentives. Every day, all around the world human trafficking is taking place. At times like this, it is important to take notes from God. I think in 2015, the Bible can speak to us regarding sex trafficking. The world today needs people who can help others who can’t take care of themselves. For example, God had deep concern for the widow, the orphan, and others in difficult circumstances. The Bible says that God stepped in for the widow and the orphan to protect them. Psalms 68:5 says, “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.” In today’s world, people who are helpless usually get taken advantage of. Job was doing everything the right way. God noticed Job and his righteousness. However, God made Job suffer. God watched him suffer, and He wasn’t going to stop the suffering. Job wanted to complain, and die, but God helped him when he couldn’t help himself. I have dealt with someone in my family that was in a state where they couldn’t help themselves. On bad days, my family responds to this person with if he won’t help himself we can’t help him either. I took from this lesson that people that are in a low place aren’t always able to take care of
