Human Toddlers

WOO-HOO! This is so cool! Have you tried this ride called LIFE yet? It's got all these great twists and turns that I can’t wait to take with you. I’m a ten month old puppy, and just like human toddlers I have a lot of energy, that keeps me going for most of the day. Though who can blame me when there are some many neat things to play with such as balls, fleece toys, rawhides, socks, pant legs, fingers (since I haven’t learnt not to yet). Just like human toddlers, I need someone who will be willing to put in the time, training, patience and effort to help me learn some much needed manners. In fact, some of the things I need help learning how to focus on something for more than (since I have a very short attention span), learning to not jump up on people, to not mouth and nip at people’s arms, fingers, legs, and even butt, to learn how to listen, work on potty training, to walk without pulling or chewing/tugging on the leash, and some of the basic commands. I know that working with me on all of this will be a challenge for sure, but trust me it will be worth it in the end, because I will be a pretty amazing dog.

Polished Brief Have you ever wanted something so bad that you thought it was necessary for your life to go on, for me that something was a pet dog. At the age of seven I was begging my parents to get me a puppy for about a year, the conversations usually sounded like this “ Hey mom and dad I was wondering if I could get a puppy this year for my birthday?” and they would reply “ I don’t know son a dog is a huge responsibility, I don’t know if you are ready for this yet.” then I would storm off all angry, because I did not get the answer I was looking or hoping for.…

I think that the infants feel really happy. The reason why I say this is because they all seem to have fun like the girl who crawl her way to the basket of different rattles. She liked the sound of the rattle when it hit the bottom of the bucket so she continued to put more of the rattles into the bucket. The boy crawler was having fun by beating his hands down on to the fruit box, possibly making music in his own eyes. Then the boy decided to try and put a block, that was nearby, and put it through one of the holes in the fruit box.…

Since man has learned to domesticate animals, dogs have become man’s best friend. Dogs were bred and trained for a variety of things such as being guards, hunters or herders, which is what helps to make them a good companion. These animals are loyal and loving no matter who you are or what you do, and really, what more could you ask for in a friend? For this reason, I think it is extremely important to respect and understand these creatures and I believe my short video, “And On the 9th Day, God Made a Dog”, makes this point.…
