Chapter 1 was an introduction to the human services profession. It’s purpose, preparation, practice, and theoretical orientations. Included in this chapter are critical thinking questions to answer, as well as a practice quiz. Chapter 1 The bookends project and human services program introduction and overview, pages 9 - 13. Included in this chapter was a message to all human service students, and explaination of the bookends project from the aurthor Professor Linda Corrente from the community college of rhode island. Chapter 2 Learning standards, skills, goals, and expectations. Pages 28 - 34 is about the modern principles of adult education and what we as adult learners can expect as we continue our journey into the human services field.
