1. Define the Human Service Professional
Human services professional is a person who has an associate degree or bachelor in human service, although there is a wide variety of certified programs and a few master’s programs that train health professionals in this area. Likewise, the Center for Credentialing an Education and the Council for Standards in Human Service Education have created a credential for human service practitioners. The main mission of a human service professional is to solve problems, especially of minorities, based on social justice.
