By breaking down the word industry culture, one would have industry is “a group of business that provide a particular product or service” (Merriam-Webster, n.d) and then culture is “a way of thinking, behavior, or working that exist in a place or organization” (Merriam-Webster, n.d.). Putting those two meaning together you will get industry culture which is a group of individuals that think, behave or work in an organization. In the human service field their culture in a service culture whom are there to help others and service others. For example, with in human service there are subcategories of specialist such as probation officers, drug and alcohol counselors, youth workers, outreach worker, child abuse workers / counselors, and marriage
