Human trafficking, one of the most disgusting human rights crime that is subsidized from public eyes and is taken too lightly. Human trafficking is one of the most profitable crime with a whopping $150.2 billion in illegal profits each year stated by the ILO (International Labour Organization). The question we must ask is how can we bring this problem to the attention to the heads of government. Human Trafficking is a undisturbed market basically after 48 Hours of a girl being abducted they are basically gone. The police will probably have no way of tracking them and sometimes they are not even taken but instead they are sold on the idea of making money or talked into selling their bodies. She was treated like she was nothing but an object that could be passed around for pleasure. Ultimately the police did their job found “Debbie” and she was reunited with her family, although this is a happy ending and it 's great that her life can go back to normal with a little therapy it still leaves us with a question. The question is how can we stop this from happening to other girls and if if it does what can they do during and after it. I found a book written by a writer of the U.N Which talks about the vulnerability, action, and impact of human trafficking. In the book it reads that the reason that human trafficking roots from poverty, isolation, and weakness. These three simple things in someone make it that much easier for the human traffickers to prey on that person. The impact that it has left people are horrible. These victims are left mentally broken and emotionally disconnected from everything. People who have fell victims to this typically afterwards have had signs of suicidal thoughts and without the proper therapy or help they will most likely carry out the act. Socially these victims tend to keep to themselves and don 't allow anyone to really connect to them. The action being taken by the U.N has been working on perfecting an already great program known as the Vienna Forum. A lot of people may know what human trafficking is but they may not truly understand what happens to these young girls. It 's not only rape but they are literally are breaking them down until they are nothing but mindless slaves that won 't go against their owners and wouldn 't dare even think of running away, but to now know that the U.N is trying their hardest to stop is a relief and I say this because nowadays it seems like the government has no care for us. With the whole United States having as many government issues at it does, doing something like this will definitely build one more bridge to reunite this nation 's trust in the government. This Vienna Forum seems like it 's going to work because not only having the United States apart of it but also other nations with similar problem they will definitely make some changes to what Human Trafficking will turn. There are also many services in the United States that help you deal with human trafficking and also inform you on how to stop and or prevent it from happening to you or anyone you know. There are countless number of people that go missing for this very reason and many of them can be prevented by school programs if you apply them. By teaching our future generation on this topic and how they can stop it we can
