It is with great enthusiasm that I am applying for the position of Human Resources Generalist with the Delta Bessborough Hotel, which I found posted on the Marriot Careers website. I was thrilled to see a position open up at the Bessborough and knew that I had to apply for it. I am a recent Master of Arts graduate, and I wrote my thesis on the Bessborough Hotel and the unique and enduring relationship it has forged with its home community over its 81-year history. For this project, I interviewed members of the community about their memories of and experiences with the Bessborough, which allowed me to gain a better understanding of how the hotel is viewed in the community today. I was even a guest on two different radio stations to discuss
