How could variables such as recognition and continuous feedback help reinforce excellence in performance? Give two examples that could work at Australian Hardware to affect performance.
When workers perform well at work, it is important that they must be recognized for the job done as they will feel important in the organization. Thus, boosting up their morals and spirits which will help them work effectively and efficiently. HR consulants – It provides flexible HR service. Specialist HR can provide short term or continuous HR support to the business without the burden and cost of recruiting.
Question 4: Counselling and support
What steps would you take to counsel the employee in accordance with organizational policy and relevant legislation for disciplinary meetings? o Investigate the issues before meeting with the employee so that I can be sure of the facts. I may even speak to other managers, employees and witnesses.
o I’ll hold a private meeting with the employee to find out the real problem. Furthermore, the employee should be allowed to respond and take their comment into their account.
o Develop a performance management plan by setting goals and providing measurable benchmarks for assessing the worker which will be constantly being under supervision.
o If there is no improvement I will have to warn the employee and made it clear that there are chances of dismissal.
