“What Are we? Humans? Or animals? Or savages?”(William Golding) If society has no rules to govern itself by, then we end up with a chaotic world full of civil unrest. With no rules in the world human beings would not be able to master primitive and savage instincts.
The conflict in the novel, Lord of The Flies, written by William Golding exemplifies man vs man, man vs self, and man vs nature. Which is a battle found within humanity.

This is how war begins, it is human nature to conquer. All humans think they are superior to others. Believing they have the greater solution.
