The main problem with genetic engineering is when it is used wrongly, for cosmetic or for selfish reasons. Where our greed comes in the way and blinds us from doing the greater good for the population. When Britain conducted a test on 71 embryo only 54 of them survived, they also found a lot of mutation in the embryo (telegraph) British scientist have said that embryo testing have a lot of ethical questions that have risen if the technique is safe. Plus wondering the fact that if we do engineering human embryos what the consequences that we don’t even know about are. The rising question is that what if they engineered a new disease and cause a new epidemic? Also with the arising question of who are we to manipulate nature? (Sage) And the fact that whenever we do something that opposes the nature it counteracts with strong …show more content…
Where even though we have done similar things to animals and plants such as cloning and genetically modified food and we know they have grave consequences if not used properly. I don’t believe that we should change an unborn child’s unique features, because we do have so many expectation of what an ideal person should be, why imprint on that view on someone who can’t even feed themselves. Its unethical playing God because we have no idea what would actually happen if that child grows up and cause many more problems genetically. Even though human engineering is banned in most countries many do pose on what would happen if we do experiment on
