Human Activity And Global Warming

Human activity has a great impact on global warming. Events, such as burning fossil fuels, contributes much of the carbon dioxide that is emitted into the atmosphere. Global warming effects caused by human activity affects the earth 's climate in many ways. It is melting the earth 's poles, glaciers and ice sheets which causes sea levels to rise. It is also shifting climates and precipitation patterns and is forcing animals to migrate.
Global warming is caused by the Greenhouse Effect. The sun emits heat and light onto the earth. Some of the heat and light is reflected off the earth into space. Some of the heat is trapped by a layer of carbon dioxide and is reflected back onto Earth. The more carbon dioxide that is emitted into the atmosphere, more heat is going to be trapped and therefore make the earth 's temperatures rise. This action is similar to that of a greenhouse hence the name
"Greenhouse Effect".

An example would be how the ice is melting at the poles which forces polar bears to migrate to thicker ice areas for shelter and food. This causes invasive species issues and change a whole ecosystem. This could then change a population and force other animals to migrate and invade somewhere else in another ecosystem. Climate changes can have major effects on organisms.
Global warming has many effects on the ocean. It affects much of the ocean 's ecosystems and living organisms. The increase in the earth 's temperature has led to coral bleaching which results in shrinking, starvation, and death of corals that support thousands of species that live on coral reefs. It has also resulted in the migration of many fish species. Many have migrated toward the poles as the ice melts as more food and shelter becomes available which could be a problem as they could be a food source for another
