How might human activities have affected global climate change? Human activities have affected global climate change in many different ways. Humans have contributed to global climate change by deforestation, the use of hydro-carbons, and the burning of fossil fuels. Is the climate changing right now? Some scientists who study the climate from today and from the past say that the global temperature has risen dramatically. Scientists are also seeing other noticeable changes in other parts of the climate and the effects on ecosystems, such as the distribution of rainfall, storm activity, and seasonal changes.
