Hugh Jackman: The Great Australian Actor
Hugh Jackman is a world renowned Australian actor and producer born October 12th, 1968, and is 47 years old. He has been in a countless number of movies and tv shows. He is most famous for his role as Wolverine in the X-Men movies. However, he was not born into the acting business. Jackman took a long climb from his childhood life to get where he is today.

Young Life

It started in Sydney, New South Wales. Jackman the youngest of 5, and he was born to Grace McNeil and Christopher John Jackman. His parents had immigrated from England to Australia, and his great-grandfather was Greek. Hugh Jackman lived with his two brothers, Ralph and Ian Jackman, two sisters, Zoe and Sonya Jackman, mother, and his father until the age of eight. When he was eight years old, his parents were divorced, and his mother returned to England with Zoe and Sonya. Jackman was then left with his brothers and father. Melbourne musicals including Beauty and the Beast as Gaston in 1996, and Sunset Boulevard as Joe Gillis. Afterwards in 1999, he starred in the movies Erskinville Kings and Paperback Hero. He was also in several tv shows including Law of the Land, Halifax f.p., Blue Heelers, and The Man From Snowy
