I chose this article from the Huffington Post because I wrote about Apple blocking commercials in my last weekly summary (week 5). I was surprised to see the industry killing its first and main source of income. The company Internet Advertising Bureau apologized for that but it is too late, the damage is done, and even other people will find a way to do it. At the end of the article, the journalist is talking about a new concept in the industry; the sharing revenue. Platforms like twitter and Facebook host the content, promote it and share the revenue with the media. It is a good way to find new sources of incomes and readers are not bothered by commercials all the time.
