Oh Huckleberry Hound, the cartoon doggie, I loved him! Well, I neither knew very well to what the phrase 'Huckleberry friend' meant and for that reason Huckleberry Finn always came to my mind :) but reading to its own authors, 'Huckleberry friend' would be synonym of 'very very special good friend, that has been in your life for years, someone who stuck to you, and follows you to wherever you go', no matter where, and is with you in good times and bad.
'Stranger on the shore' is so beautiful, Ken, I love it. The other songs you mentioned are very good too, so these are the songs you would like to listen as if they were in the air, and they were activated, by a invisible hand, in every special moment of your life.
