Huck And Jim Relationship Analysis

Mark Twainś Adventures of Huckleberry Finn takes place on and along the Mississippi River. It is the tale of two outcasts, a small-town Missouri boy named Huck was a runaway slave named him. Huck and Jim relationship was basically good sometimes and sometimes they had ups and down. They had like an brotherly relationship in the story they both was there for each other , they both kept each other secrets that nobody knew but them in the story jim faked his death and he didn't want huck to tell nobody and huck didn’t . One day they went to Jackson island which was found by huck. Jim really liked it. He said it was might and that he wouldn't have wanted to go nowhere but where he was at. They stayed there for a couple of days for a shelter they had food and everything else. After a couple of days staying in the little shelter due to the heavy rain they saw a house float towards the island. These qualities are not altered during the course of the novel; Jim's simple nature becomes common sense, and he constantly chooses the right path for him and Huck to follow. For example, when Huck and Jim are on Jackson's Island, Jim observes the nervous actions of birds and predicts that it will rain. Jim's prediction comes true as a huge storm comes upon the island. The moment is an important one, for it establishes Jim as an authority figure and readers recognize his experience and intelligence. Jim's insight is also revealed when he recognizes the duke and the king to be frauds. Like Huck, Jim realizes he cannot stop the con men from controlling the raft, but he tells Huck that "I doan' hanker for no mo' un um, Huck. Dese is all I kin
