On June 17, 2015, there was a kidnapping and murder, and I was best friends with the murder victim. I was actually the last one to see her before she was killed. Her name was Katie Smith. She was my best friend, and now I lost her. In two days, I will be questioned about Katie. Many people think I'm the killer, but I'm not. I think I know who it really is. Today is the day I will get questioned. I can't believe some of my friends and even Katie's family, who I have known since I was little, think that I'm the killer. Katie's family probably knows I wasn't actually the killer. There aren't any other suspects right now besides me, so they would automatically pick me. I am in the interrogation room, and a police officer came in." Hello, I'm here to ask you some questions regarding Katie's murder case," said the police officer," My first question is what happened on that day of the murder when you were with Katie?” I replied,” On that day, we went to a really fun amusement park called Lake Winnie. It was a really special day because we don’t get to hang out together outside of school since my parents are very strict.” As I continue on about that day, all the good and bad memories with her came flowing into my mind. I started crying about halfway through my story. I remembered when we laughed …show more content…
The police came to my house and told me Katie was murdered. She never got to her house, and she was stabbed to death. I froze when I heard that. My mind went totally blank. I just couldn't believe it. On that day, I thought about a lot of things. I thought,” Who kidnapped and murdered Katie? Why would they do that? I could have prevented it from happening. I could have convinced her parents to let her stay.” These sentences replayed in my head, and I cried a lot. I then thought back to who kidnapped and killed Katie. I thought about all the people that didn’t like us or were our enemies. Then a person’s name popped in my head. Her name was Cindy

I think one of the most important things she discusses in the video is the idea of cognitive space. Waiting for the students to have an idea or an answer to make sure they understand the lesson.…
