There are three parts to be a positive impact in the agriculture industry. They are a consumer, a worker, and an agriculture advocate to keep the cycle of transactions happening and promoting agriculture educating the public. As a consumer I should be buying locally to support our local economy and neighbors. To I have the produce right next to me, I feel that why go farther away to get the same product that is usually not as fresh because of the processing and time from field to table. Also with returning the money back into the system helps the local business benefit to make upgrades to keep up with the ever changing technology causing the people in the community to benefit in the long. The community would benefit from the company creating a safer way to dispose of waste with the new technology because we were given only so much land, air, water, and must preserve land as our duty for future families. Some people may feel that the immigrant workers are coming into the country and taking jobs. I can't disagree with them that people are coming into the U.S. and taking the jobs. The Jobs that some Americans feel the they shouldn't have to do because the jobs are labor intensive and not glorious at all, such as working on a dairy farm where 41% of the work force is from foreign descent according to CNN. Farmers need theses people to make sure all of the American not working for their food has full bellies. In addition, just answer questions to the best of my ability or have the person talk to a person that knows more about the subject because if the farmers are not answering the question straight from the consumer.
