There is a co-worker who used impression management to lead to a desired outcome. In my department, we have to retain so much knowledge of government regulation and FedEx customs clearance policy that changes on a daily bases. In our volume, our department can receive a heavy workload depending to the department personnel. This young lady was very knowledgeable with extra functions outside our department to get certain answers to help a customer out. She would go out on a limb every day to help the manager, team leads, other co-workers, customers and even other department.
