Introduction
For this week’s lesson the assignment, I will discuss Decusofts compensation technology, Ceridian’s employment systems and services, and the time and attendance system software of Optimum Solutions. I made my selections by browsing each company’s website and finding sites that attracted me the most. COMPOSE auto-mates and streamlines non–traditional, complex Merit, Bonus and Long–term Incentive compen-sation processes (decusoft.com, 2014). What I found interesting about this product was the abil-ity to work with any HRIS, or pay roll system. The benefit and downfall are one in the same. The benefit to using Decusofts COMPOSE software is that it Decusoft focuses exclusively on compensation. Most HRIS focus on other areas and add compensation and benefits as a bonus, so with Decusoft you know the software and support are focused solely on assisting your HR department in managing the company’s compensation and benefits. The downfall to this is the need for other products to manage other HR areas within the organization. Although Decusoft is scalable in size to be used by any type of organization, I feel it would be more suited for mid-size to large organizations that can afford to purchase multiple HR …show more content…
An interesting aspect of the technology is the many options offered for tracking employee hours. With different ways to track hour’s optimum solutions is able to integrate into any work environment. A benefit of this product is the alert system that can be used to alert management on different aspects of employee time and attendance. This product is better suited for mid-sized organizations giving them the ability to track employee time sheets and attendance taking the pressure off the HR de-partment to maintain this portion of
