Dear, Mr. Duffy

I am writing to you in regards of H.R. 1599, I am a junior at Edgar High School. I work on a dairy farm and would like to run my own operation some day and bills like H.R. 1599 will destroy my future if the public is not educated on GMO’s.

H.R. 1599 is bill is representative Mike Pompeo wanting all GMO foods to be labeled before being sold. I disagree with this bill for various reasons, my main reason is that I believe it is pointless to have this bill because almost all of the grain we eat is a GMO and it has been proven in many studies that it is not harmful to us at all. The second reason I have is that the general public does not even know what a GMO is and why it is important to us. The general public sees a warning
