HPV is short for human papillomavirus is a disease in which people can get infected by sexual activities. HPV has more than 150 related viruses. The HPV is named for the warts some HPV can cause in humans. Among this viruses HPV can lead to cancer the most dangerous is cervical cancer. However people can prevent the HPV virus with a simple vaccine. Males and females can get protected with the HPV vaccine. These vaccine consist of three doses over six months. These vaccine is more effective in girls aged 11-12 years old. Proponents believe that HPV vaccine at an early age is more effective from getting cervical cancer and should be required in schools, while opponents argue that if this vaccine is required it will encourage girls to have sex. The HPV vaccine is recommendable for girls at an early age because the vaccine consists of three doses. Should the HPV vaccine be required in schools for girls entering sixth-grade? In most cases parents don’t agree with this vaccine and don’t want their child to be vaccinated. In a survey of University of Harvard says that this vaccine scares most parents because their childs are too young even if they are in high school. Therefore not in all states HPV is required. If HPV vaccine is an option for parents. Many parents aren’t going to take their child to the doctor to get immunized. Furthermore if children don’t get immunized at ages of 11 or 12 is possible that the won’t do when they became teenagers. Teenagers tend to not go as much to the doctor as childrens do. All vaccines are recommended because is the safety of not only the parents and children, but everyone around you. For example in school, church, and personal life.
